Mission: The general purposes for which the corporation is organized are to promote intellectually rich fundamental science in reproductive biology by providing peer-reviewed grants to qualified investigators and by conducting conferences for the scientific community as well as providing education for the public.

the organization conducted a conference with the purpose of raising awareness among women of the nc triangle region regarding uterine fibroids and the need for increased treatment options. We presented information regarding the biology and pathology of fibroids, epidemiology and current treatment options as well as a presentation of how women can cope with fibroids. The organization (campion fund) also sponsored the ines mandl research foundation for the uterine fibroid meeting on march 11, 2017. The purpose of the meeting was to raise awareness among women of our region regarding uterine fibroids and to the need for increased treatment options. Presentations were structured to encourage discussion by participants. The agenda included talks on the nature of fibroids, what is currently known about their cause and biology, current and future treatments and most importantly, how they impact women.
