Mission: To create a caring, just, and affirming world for LGBTQ+ people and those who love them.
Results: We provide the most consistent LGBTQ+ support groups in Sacramento County. We currently hold three support meetings a month. Two of the meetings are in person and one meeting is on zoom. We provide yearly scholarships. This year we were able to add two additional $1000 scholarships in addition to the two annual $2,500 scholarships we award. We participate at local LGBTQ+ events by tabling. Which includes handing out LGBTQ+ swag, providing information as well as connection to local resources, and discussing volunteer opportunities with our organization. We offer a lending library at our in person meetings and our books are intersectional, informative, offer representation, and we have both fiction and nonfiction options. Our members and board of directors participate in local and state advocacy as opportunities arise at city council, student board meetings, and at the State Capitol.
