Mission: pFactory endeavors to combat youth apathy by promoting a zeal for civic action and cultivating a passionate sense of purpose in it?s young participants. Through implementing the Possibilities Factory curriculum, pFactory, empowers youth ages 8-16 to improve their communities then highlights their work on TV. The Possibilities Factory camps and after-school programs instill leadership, as well as core values such as integrity, respect, understanding, compassion, and kindness while teaching marketable skills such a videography, fundraising, and project management. The Possibilities Factory videos and TV show reinforce the participants for their altruism as they provide a model of teamwork and community outreach to the viewers. pFactory addresses the need for community improvement, the need for youth to have healthy self esteem, the need for nutritious, hip, character building television programming for the 8-12 age group, the need for youth to learn leadership and life skills, the need for a mutually beneficial relationship between youth and their communities, and the need for youth to be recognized as important members of their communities.
