As a parent of a deaf child in Maine, the Percival P. Baxter Foundation has helped my family connect with other families and my child connect with other children like him. The foundation has supported me with American Sign Language courses, without which I would have less confidence communicating with my child and with the broader Deaf Community. This foundation is so important for the support and growth of Maine's deaf and hard of hearing children and their families.

Thanks to the Percival Baxter Foundation our family received funding to help support our attendance at the Cochlear Implant Family Camp in Colorado. Our daughter is deaf and uses cochlear implants. The connections we all made at camp with other families who "get it" was invaluable. Thank you PBF for making it possible!

My daughter Hayley Gagne was born with c CMV and has profound hearing loss. I am so lucky to go to the conference as the Maine chair for the national foundation. The foundation paid for my registration so I can bri g the knowledge back to ME! I am blessed.
