Mission: Volunteers provide caring non-medical assistance to adults unable to drive due to physical limitations, in order to help them continue living independently in their homes and their community.
Programs: In 2017, people who care formally designated our three outreach areas in chino valley, prescott, and prescott valley/dewey as community-based programs. This designation means that volunteers provide assistance to clients in the community where they and the client reside resulting in a greater convenience for volunteers and a hopeful increase in financial support from each community. Over the course of the year, 323 volunteers in these three area programs assisted 432 unduplicated client neighbors providing 11,012 direct care non-medical services and 2,660 indirect support services. They contributed 17,762 one to one direct service hours and 2,660 indirect support services. The new client relational database (crm) was able to gather this detailed data and create excellent reports.
