Mission: The phts foundation's mission is to raise and administer funds to advance the science and treatment of children while listed for and following heart transplantation. The foundation supports the good works of the pediatric heart transplant study (phts)
Programs: The foundation has established and maintains an international, prospective, event-driven database for heart transplantation. The information collected in the database is used to encourage and stimulate basic and clinical research in the field of pediatric heart tranplantation and to promote new therapeutic strategies for children receiving heart transplants. To that end, the foundation makes the information in its database available to physicians, researchers, health care providers and others in connection with medical and scientific research and the treatment of children receiving heart transplants.
