A great organization doing great things! Connecting and exposing kids to music opportinities through education and performance. I have volunteered for several years and am happy to see the growth in the program. Please consider donating money or your time.
I started working with Pavoh back in May. Since then we have put on many successful music programs at local Boys and Girls clubs. The response has absolutely been incredible. The kids are extremely excited and interested to try learning music for the first time, or continue learning. In my time teaching for Pavoh I have come across kids of enormous potential whose eyes light up when they have a guitar in their hand. It is amazing to see firsthand the passion Pavoh has evoked, and continues to do so.
I absolutely love, respect and admire Laura's vision. Essentially, this organization's mission is to equip and guide today's youth -- through the arts -- to become tomorrow's leaders in whatever path they take in life. That's beyond beautiful and also very much necessary. So for that alone, I am a proud supporter.
My daughter benefited greatly from her participation in Pavoh events over the past two years! A wonderful organization!
A true pleasure to work with! Pavoh and their team of committed musicians continue to inspire our Club members and provide them with significant learning opportunities. A wonderful organization that we are proud to work besides. -Watertown Boys and Girls Club
Congrats to Pavoh for giving young performers, under the age of 21, the opportunity to truly develop as artists. It's refreshing to work with an organization that is so deeply committed to helping talented kids to flourish. Not only are they professional in their approach, they provide great, non-profit opportunities to showcase their talents and reward those that are prepared to invest in the art and business of music.
We went to the 2016 Radar Awards and loved the energy and commradery of the young musicians. It was so much fun. Hats off to Pavoh for focusing on young artists and helping them their voice and their way in the world.
I love what Pavoh is doing for kids who connect through music. Many of these young artists just want a chance to perform and get their sound out into the community. It's a great organization to get involved with if you want young musicians to be seen and heard! Congratulations to Laura and all the volunteers who are giving of their time and resources to open doors of opportunity for young musicians and vocalists.
Pavoh gave me the opportunity to perform and earn an Award as a young artist! This is very appreciated since there are not many people doing this. They allowed me to showcase my talent and to get awarded for it!
Pavoh is an amazing nonprofit that meets an underserved need in the community. It's great to see young people so happy!
It's been a year since I last worked with Pavoh, and just in that one year, the charity has done so much! I am a high school music teacher that sees first hand how teenagers hunger for avenues to perform and make music. It is amazing to see Pavoh hosting so many opportunities for young musicians. Personally, I am most thrilled by the performance opportunities. Many teens are not able to perform in local venues due to their age, but they are so skilled! Pavoh helps students get ready at any stage: beginner getting ready to perform, or experienced.
I had heard of Pavoh from a youth at the Waltham Boys and Girls Club. The youth explained to me that Pavoh had supported some musical opportunities at the Club and said that it was the first time that he felt he had been given an opportunity to share his musical talent with others. He said it inspired him to work harder on his music and more importantly feel what he loves to do matters. This inspired me to look further into the Organization and get a better understanding of it's mission. I was impressed with it's desire to help recognize talented musicians 21 and under, I certainly saw the success and boost in self confidence it brought to the young youth I had spoken to at the B & G Club. I was also impressed with PAVOH's desire to provide Performance opportunities to youths in a VARIETY of settings, engage youths in getting updated music information and provide parents resource information.
I was so impressed I have offered to volunteer at any Pavoh Event they need me.
BRAVO FOUNDER LAURA LAMERE.
Pavoh has given so many young musicians a chance to learn more about the music industry and have offered them opportunities to play shows for their peers. The Organization offers important information and resources that are invaluable to the these talented and enthusiastic performers. Bravo !!!
Pavoh has been a wonderful partner of the Boys & Girls Club! Music plays a critical role in helping young people reach their full potential, and Pavoh truly makes an impact. Their work helps us to fulfill our mission to serve youth. Thank you for your work in our community!
Pavoh is an amazing organization that provides young talent the opportunity to be heard. With the encouragement of passionate people like Laura, Pavoh is helping to prepare and inspire young musicians.
Its just good that there are caring, passionate folks like Laura and the rest of the Pavoh crew out there. Making progress as a young independent musician is tough, and Pavoh.org provided us and many other musicians with countless opportunities for performances, recognition, and exposure; which were all essential to building up to our current touring schedule. Pavoh rocks!
I was brought into the Pavoh fold when I wrote a story for a national magazine about music education in the Boston area and met the amazing, tireless and incredibly driven woman who started it. While Laura's story is inspiring, what she has been able to accomplish in a short amount of time with Pavoh has been breathtaking. She recognized that there was a need to connect kids looking to learn and perform music with a wealth of information they would otherwise be unaware of. The result is a website that goes beyond merely being a vital tool and a nexus for the local music community, it's also an engine for the creation and sponsorship of events that spread the love of music education and lay the foundation for the future careers for young people. As a musician and teacher myself at Music Go Round in Natick I make sure to introduce all my young students and their parents to the excellent resource that is Pavoh.
The Pavoh partnership with Waltham Boys & Girls Club has been a great success. Laura and her team at Pavoh have been a key element of our efforts to expand our music offerings. This summer's Friday Jams series, brought together music experts, teen bands and created mentorship opportunities so critical for our youth development core programming. In short, Pavoh rocks... Among the many things I find amazing about Pavoh is how it has managed to accomplish so very much in such a short time. This is not an organization that has been around for years & years yet clearly they struck a "cord" that was needed and people really responded to. The variety and quality of what they are doing provides inspiration, encouragement and venues for kids of all walks of life to express and grow their talent and creativity. Pavoh provides so many opportunities that otherwise are unlikely to exist at a time when so many of our school systems are cutting back on music, art etc. It is important to support their continued efforts and growth. Bravo Pavoh!
PAVOH.org takes the time to listen to young musicians! And, they showcase local talent on their website, as well as provide performance opportunities. We were honored as a 2013 RADAR Artist of the Week in 2013. They are a Non-Profit that is so appreciated by all of us out here. Thanks, from the 21st CENTURY FUGITIVES team!
An amazing nonprofit that gives kids the ultimate opportunity to pursue a musical dream, fulfill a once in a life time moment to be that star on stage. Without Pavoh Angelina would never have received an Honorable Mention at the Radar Awards. It was such an honor to have her work listened to and judged by her piers. There are very few Non-profits that concentrate on youth and long term goals/achievements. Pavoh continues to present opportunities to youth to socialize, perform, write, play and reach their goal.
Pavoh is just what young musicians need! I was so happy to finally see all of the local opportunities for young musicians and more compiled in one place! Not only does Pavoh help connect young bands (and solo musicians) with the people looking to put them on stage, but it also creates many opportunities of its own, from live showcases to online places to share your music with the world.
My band has worked with with Pavoh since the beginning, and they've helped to set up or connect us with almost a dozen gigs we've done over the past couple years. There are a lot of opportunities out there for people our age that we certainly wouldn't have been aware of without Pavoh, and of course our association with their online presence has helped spread or music to people who may not have seen us at shows.
My daughter Sarah Barrios has been involved with Pavoh.org for the past year and it is an AMAZING organization helping young musicians have an opportunity to share their music. The folks running Pavoh.org truly care about the kids & understand how difficult it can be at times when the performers are young and looking for safe places to perform as well as programs that help them grow as artist. We are incredibly grateful to them & wish them nothing but success for the future.
