exhibits and showcases: creating community, celebrating achievementsproduced 6 visual arts exhibits and performance showcases. Students who have completed a path with art class are invited and encouraged to participate in a public exhibit or showcase honoring their work. Our exhibits provide each visual art student with the opportunity to share their voice with the community and reflect on the connection between their artwork and personal story in the form of a written artist statement. Exhibits are typically held in a community gallery space and are always open to the public. Showcases feature the work of our writing and performance students and are powerful presentations of our students courage and talents.
