Programs: Rose bowl game - the association, with its volunteer membership, organizes and conducts the annual collegiate postseason football rose bowl game on new year's day. On january 1, 2018, the association hosted the college football playoff semifinal at the rose bowl game ("cfp game"). The cfp game showcased two of the country's top four collegiate teams in a post-season match up, including the #2 and #3 teams, in front of approximately 93,000 live viewers. The cfp game was also televised live on espn to over 30 million viewers.

Since 1889, the association has staged this premiere event that showcase marching bands and equestrian units from around the world in addition to the tradition and pageantry of its magnificent floral floats. Over 700,000 spectators line the streets of pasadena to view the parade live in addition to the live television broadcast to over 46 million viewers nationwide and over 28 million viewers internationally. It is the intent of the association, for educational purposes, to provide an environment in which the benefits from the participation and contribution of a socially, culturally diverse membership, that is representative of the greater community are reflected in its organization, structure, events, and activities. These events consist of post parade (viewing of the floats on city streets after the parade is ended), float decorating (viewing of the floats in the final decoration stages), hall of fame induction ceremony (induction of the current hall of fame class), bandfest (showcase of the rose parade bands at pasadena city college), equestfest (showcase of the rose parade equestrian units at the la equestrian center), rose queen announcement and coronation ceremony, and the vip tailgate party. Over 125,000 people attended these events.
