Causes: Animal Protection & Welfare, Animals
Mission: To provide excellent care and find good homes for our animal guests; to promote responsible pet guardianship; to work to end the overpopulation of feral cats as well as all pets; and to run an organized efficient shelter with a no-kill philosophy.
Programs: Provided shelter and care for over 500 homeless animals, returning 186 animals to their original owners and placing 82 dogs and 251 cats into new homes.
provided spay and neuter services to 172 animals (44 dogs and 128 cats), helping control the overpopulation of feral cats and other pets.
a gift in the amount of 3,250 was made to the wyoming community foundation to increase the park county animal shelter agency endowment fund. Distributions from the fund will be used in support of the charitable purposes of park county animal shelter.
