Causes: Education, Primary & Elementary Schools
Mission: Parent association for sanborn students exists to support sanborn elementary school students and teachers by providing supplemental learning programs and activities for our school (such as science fair, spelling bee, geography bee, school carnival, school picnic, supplemental learning materials, additional technology, field trips, and guest speakers. )
Programs: Our work directly benefits the entire sanborn elementary school community. Examples of projects we funded this year: transportation for all grades field trips, books, workbooks, classroom materials/supplies, movie night, game night, provided food for parent teacher conferences, funded framing of art show artwork, provided supplies for school nurse, holiday parade float, technology for computer lab, special materials for classroom projects, rewards/incentives for reading program, school choir, school carnival, spelling bee and prizes, geography bee and prizes, all school ice cream social, training materials for teachers/staff, all-school picnic, etc.
