Mission: Working as a non-profit Junior College, the Paragee Academy will employ the strengths of the Central Valley while encouraging community investment and involvement to strengthen our home in return. The Mission of the Paragee Academy is both to teach sustainable habits of mind and practices and to reach out into the Fresno and Valley communities to improve the standards of living of the poorer communities by way of education and the establishment of backyard and community gardens and to foster, develop and cultivate social consciousness and sustainable living among the more fortunate.
Target demographics: people to learn about Arts and Humanities and Sustainable Living Practices.
Geographic areas served: Fresno, CA and the surrounding Valley towns
Programs: a two-year degree program with a specific emphasis on community outreach and involvement.
