Causes: International, Promotion of International Understanding
Mission: Facilitating the organization and operation of technology development conferences for student, entrepeneurs, and individuals to create and develop computer applications, phone applications, software and hardware that will, among other things, assist with implementing poverty reduction programs in pakistan, provide guidance to farmers, assist individuals with disabilities in day-to-day activities, provide police alerts, crime reporting, and other security related information to pakistani citizens through technology based initiatives.
Programs: Pakathon is a global organization with 85+ volunteers organized around eight volunteer chapters in the us, canada, middle east and australia. By hosting events in cities abroad we connect the pakistani diaspora to issues in pakistan and scout for potential "returners" individuals who want to move back to pakistan and do impactful work.
