I have been fortunate enough to do two trips with PADMA to Nepal and Bali, and both have completely changed my life for the better! I went to Nepal in 2017 and spending time in Kathmandu and in the mountains at a monastery involved in local culture was truly eye opening. Being able to teach the nuns and monks to grow vegetables season after season in the greenhouse our group built was inspiring to continue to help others. Being immersed with the nuns and monks taught me to not focus on the material wealth I have, but my knowledge and opportunities I have to be happy. I went on the 2018 Bali trip, and staying and working with the locals opened my eyes even more. Both of these trips I would do over a thousand times, and they never would have happened if it wasn't for the PADMA volunteers and chaperones. The way these trips were organized were flawless and having Tim and Christin part of both trips was a treat! PADMA is an amazing nonprofit and I am so lucky to say I have been a part of their story!

I've been a supporter of Padma since 2006. I can attest to their integrity in their procets from start to finish.
I was fortunate enough to be a part of one of Padma's Service trips to Bali this past summer and it was one of the most life-changing things I've ever done. Being immersed in the culture there was a once in a lifetime opportunity and making artificial coral reefs was a lot of hard work that will do a lot of good in the world. It was also amazing to see the kids there and how happy they were to receive our donated clothing, shoes, etc. I would definitely partner with this organization again and be a part of another service trip with them.

In high school, I was fortunate enough to take part in service trips through Padma Organization to Nepal and Bali, both incredible and eye-opening experiences . Not only did this nonprofit make it possible for upward of 60 kids to go to these countries safely, but they organized volunteer work that was substantial and meaningful. When in Nepal, we were also able to meet the various kids experiencing certain hardships / difficult living conditions that are sponsored by this organization, where their impact was certainly notable. I feel so lucky to have been able to work with those involved with Padma and take part in their amazing outreach around the world!

I have been on two PADMA service trips, one to Nepal and the other to Indonesia. Both trips were unbelievable and unique. I got to be immersed in both cultures and had an incredible experience while helping others. The PADMA staff was extremely knowledgable of the local areas and people which made the experience even more special. I got to help others in a meaningful way while getting to see the world!

I have been involved with the Padma Organization for a number of years, including helping with fundraising and traveling to Nepal to help children there. I wholeheartedly endorse and recommend this wonderful nonprofit!
Padma is an excellent organization. I've been working with this group for over 10 years and have been impressed with the wonderful things they do. All of the people involved are dedicated and truly committed and believe deeply in their mission.
I few years back, I went to Nepal to see the children they sponsor and was impressed with the love and care being given. They children are wonderful and have been given so many opportunities are a result of Padma's work.
I recently got a note from one of the Padma kids. He's all grown up! He's almost done with high school and preparing for college. This coming from a young man whose parents both have HIV and were unable to provide for his basic needs. Padma gave him a place to stay, clothing, food, and paid for education. The impact is incredible.
I have been on the Padma board for over 8 years and have personally seen how the impoverished children of Nepal have been helped, with careful oversight of donations and connections with committed volunteers in America and Nepal.
I love Padma and the work they do is inspiring. I highly recommend being involved with Padma projects however you are able.
I sent my kid on one of Padma's service trips to Nepal, and they returned saying it was the coolest thing they'd ever done. I had heard a little about their various humanitarian projects from some friends who are involved in similar work across the globe, and realizing i was considering sending my teenager on one of these trips, they had nothing but praise for the organization itself, and the trips they do each year. Happy i listened. My kid seems like he matured a few years during the weeks he was out in Nepal! Sort of shocked us all with the positive changes and perspectives he came back with. I guess getting out, seeing the world, and helping out a bit really does influence kids and adults alike. A friend who sent his daughter on that same trip had similar sentiments about how positive the influence was for his kid as well. After all that, i started reading up about the schools they started, the earthquake relief in Nepal, and am impressed. Keep up the good work everyone!
