Programs: Economic justice: food aid reform was the focus of the campaign this year. Resources supported legislative campaigning to stop a bill in the senate that would have increased the cost of emergency food aid and would have resulted in 2 million fewer people receiving that aid. Oxfam ambassadors in 11 states took action asking their senators not to include the provision in the bill. Grants to the foods resource bank and the borgen project made lobbying possible and supported a lobby day in september. Grants to the women, food & agriculture network and the chef action network educated more farmers and chefs on food aid reform throughout the year and supported a chef's lobby day in early 2015.

decent work: resources funded oxfam's us program launch of a report and interactive map to support an increase in the federal minimum wage. Working with m+r communications, the report garnered 69 national media hits. Oxfam staff and lobby consultants from cassidy & associates mobilized grasstop leaders from business, faith, labor, and civic organizations. Staff and allies met with 20 congressional offices and 15 top house target offices to share local data on the impacts on local workers of a minimum wage increase and to identify offices willing to support a future increase. Over 50 members of congress mentioned the report in social media, including twitter and facebook.

constituency building: 167,000 online supporters were engaged on oxfam issues and took grassroots lobbying actions to advance legislative objectives on food security, appropriations, climate change, agriculture, aid effectiveness, humanitarian assistance and oil, gas and mining issues. The strongest action was in partnership with somali & family youth services in renton, wa on a change. Org petition encouraging the us treasury to keep the somali-american money transfer companies open. The online petition gathered 2,777 signatures. Oxfam's appropriations petition was used in the launch of the film "stand up planet". With ally takepart. Com, viewers were educated on global poverty issues. We continued work to strengthen our volunteers - the oxfam action corp, change leaders, and sisters on the planet.
