Mission: To educate and inspire young people about terrestrial and aquatic species; to establish and provide a platform for high school, undergraduate, and graduate students to engage in the conservation of terrestrial and auqatic species located in new york state, the united states and throughout the world; to survey waters located in new york state with the intent to obtain data related to fish populations and other aquatic species; to conduct research related to terrestrial and aquatic species located both in the united states and internationally; to develop and implement conservation strategies related to the wildlife management of terrestrial and aquatic species; to raise awareness regarding terrestrial and aquatic species through public presentations, films, and observational opportunities; to publish articles in a wide variety of publications to help further scientific knowledge and raise awareness regarding global conservation efforts of terrestrial and aquatic species
