Mission: Since our founding in 1966, Oregon Literacy, Inc. (OLI) has been working to advance literacy through access, advocacy and alliances. Oregon Literacy?s history is built around the important role of volunteers in providing free literacy tutoring programs for adults. As the certified State Program Affiliate of Proliteracy America, OLI serves to bridge local and national literacy organizations by coordinating and offering a variety of support for local literacy programs statewide. All of the services OLI provides are free and have been developed through our partnerships with the volunteer literacy programs throughout Oregon.
