Target demographics: All adults 55+ are welcome to utilize our programs and services! New Horizons brings people together, creating community and giving our beloved older adults meaning, purpose and independence in their golden years.

Direct beneficiaries per year: 1,100 inidivudal seniors! Our programs and services were utilized 19,699 times; We provided information & assistance 10,166 times, We served 3,369 meals, and our dedicated corps of over 160 volunteers completed 5,673 hours!

Geographic areas served: Narberth, Lower Merion Township and parts of Delaware County and Philadelphia County.

Programs: Our programming fall into 4 broad categories: Recreation and Socialization; Lifelong Learning; Health and Wellness; and Supportive Services. A sampling: Recreation: Award-winning Glee Club, Mah Jongg, Bridge, Pinochle, Day trips, Holiday luncheons, Bingo, Music Cafe, Ice Cream Socials, Birthday Parties Lifelong Learning: Book Club, Creative Writing, Art Corner, History Lectures, Current Events Discussion group (with State Sen. Leach's office), World & National Affairs Discussion group, Computer Tutorials, Knitting & Crocheting group, Brain games, Author Series, Coloring Club, Improv Theatre group. Health and Wellness: Tai Chi, Gentle Yoga, Walking Club, Healthy Steps in Motion, Meditation, Nutrition Workshops, Free health screenings (BP, BMI, Hearing), CPR trainings, Ask the Doctor Seminar Series, Chair Massage, Shiatsu Treatments, Fitness Support Group, Healthy cooking demos, Fall Prevention, and more!
