Mission: To promote understanding, healing, growth, and community for people experiencing or impacted by religious transition.
Programs: The primary deliverables for the osf continue to be our podcasts. The open stories foundation produces the most popular podcasts in mormonism which include: mormon stories, mormon matters, a thoughtful faith, mormon transitions and mormon mental health podcasts. Total downloads and views for 2017 were 6. 3 million. This is a 33. 2% increase in views and dowloads from 2016.
the osf organized and delivered eight retreats and workshops to support progressive and post-mormons. These events were held in anaheim, ca, salt lake city, ut, ft. Collins, co, dallas, tx, seattle, wa, walnut creek, ca. We received a 4. 9 out of 5 rating in overall satisfaction from participants. We served hundreds of participants through these workshops and retreats. We were able to have various mental health professionals facilitate breakout workshops for these events. Each track had separate breakouts as well as overall main group sessions.
