Mission: The charitable purpose of On The Park is to preserve and develop the local resources, wisdom and traditions of Glade Park, Colorado.
Programs: The Glade Park Community School opened its doors to a class of 11 Kindergarten through 2nd graders in Fall 2009 and currently enrolls 21 Kindergarten through 4th graders. On The Park supports the Glade Park Community School's efforts by:
- Helping with volunteer recruitment for classroom needs (such as reading partners, community history presentations, storytelling, language instruction).
- Organizing seasonal festivals and fundraisers.
- Working toward construction of a permanent facility in which the school can meet.
