Mission: The organization's mission is to provide outreach programs for the disadvantaged. The ultimate goal and mission is to inspire and enable both the young and old disadvantaged persons, especially those in need of academic and health assistance, to receive help to the extent they can reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens. These goals are to be met through the following programs: tutorial academic program, welfare to work program and health awareness program.
Programs: Program for senior citizens. Health awareness focuses on the provision of health screening such as blood pressure, breast cancer and diabetes. It provides other health services in collaboration with the richmond county health department and other health providers. Program offers nutrition, health and wellness classes. Computer part has computer instruction classes for senior citizens. 20-30 clients served.
tutoring program offers tutoring for students in grades 3 through 8. 20 students served.
