Mission: The mission of the old jail art center "ojac" is to be the primary cultural resource for its region of texas, providing visual art, performing art, and local history resources for residents and visitors alike, and fostering memorable experiences for all.
Programs: The ojac serves as a fine art museum that provides exhibits and related programs for visitors. The ojac offers its programs primarily to a large region of west-central texas with visitors from all over the world. On 2016 the ojac had approximately 9,500 walk-in visitors and served some 17,000 students and adults through education programs.
the ojac is open tuesday - saturday to the general public to view exhibitions and participate in programs free of charge.
the ojac offers scholarships to highschool graduates who are purusing a degree in the arts.
