I found Oasis while searching on the web for nonprofits that are fighting human trafficking and what I originally was looking for was an organization that was fighting human trafficking locally here in Los Angeles, but what I found was a an incredibly large, global organization that is not only fighting trafficking locally and globally, but is also helping the marginalized in all aspects and in many communities around the world, bringing them hope as well as an opportunity to reach their God-given potential. This is a great place to grow, not only as an individual but as a team of people who are passionate about ending slavery and overall injustices in our world today. Each staff member is genuinely cared for and plays a vital and important role in helping to find their gifts and use their strengths.
Oasis is an organization that helps with community building and awareness. Oasis does a great job encouraging cities to stand up against the injustice occurring in the U.S as well as around the world. Each staff have a personal care and desire for those who have been victimized by these injustices and helping end slavery around the world. They are connected with other organizations around LA that have the same goals.
