As a parent who has the job of driving to a place for the kids a few times a week, I did not want to just give a short story of why five stars are given.
I was introduced to the club 6 months ago with my two children my 8-year-old boy and 13-year-old girl. They are both homeschooled and this was the first interaction with other kids their age making new friends. My two kids are excited to go, so we have not missed a class since we started.
I was impressed with the coaches and how they interacted and motivated the class.
Coaches demonstrate teaching skills to the student’s skill level.
Parents with past wrestling skills help the class under the direction of the coaches.
Seniors from the High school wrestling come and help. Near the end of the class, they play games that finish the day.
There is a variety of age groups in the class so new and old students can get a suitable partner.
I see a combination of a healthy sport that can be supported all the way past college. In conclusion, I have introduced my kids to a great environment with skills they will get and use their whole life.
