Programs: Retention - approximately 1600 providers receieved continuing education on topics which imnproved their ability to serve patients and encouraged them to remain in practice in vulnerable communities. Approximately 400 hours of consultation was provided on implementation of language services. 89 individual were trained as interpreters to assist medical providers and their patients. Conducted 15 focus groups through virginia to identify health promotion methods and messages usefull in educating parents and adolescents on healthcare protction. interpreter bank- 122 health care interpreters provided approximately 14000 hours of service at 40 sites, eliminating the language barrier there by enabling the provider and patient to communicate accurately regarding their condition and treatment
