Mission: We are dedicated to building a healthier community by providing coordinated care and support for individuals and family wellness. Our community health center combines primary care, medical specialties, behavioral health and prevention with a team of experienced professionals who are committed to high quality care.
Programs: Northern nevada hopes is a not for profit community health center located in downtown reno, nevada offering integrated medical, behavioral health and supportive services to over 10,000 low income patients. The growing list of services offered includes, primary medical, ultrasound and x-ray, on-site lab, on-site pharmacy, chronic disease management, behavioral health, substance use treatment including medication assisted treatment for opioid addiction, psychiatry, case management and more. This unique team-based care approach to healthcare reduces barriers by creating a one-stop-shop for our patients. Hopes specializes in serving the medically underserved in our community and works with many stigmatized populations including the lgbtqi community, drug users, sex workers, and people experiencing homelessness and poverty. We accept most commercial insurance plans as well as medicare, medicaid and offer a sliding fee scale for those who qualify. We welcome patients wherever they are in life and provide them with safe and non-judgmental services to support their health and well being. In fiscal year ended 6/30/17 we completed 35,000 medical and behavioral health visits.
