Nonprofit Overview
Mission: The mission of the federal bar association ("fba") is to strengthen the federal legal administration of justice by serving the interests and the needs of the federal practitioner, both public and private, the federal judiciary function for the northern district of california. The fba promotes the high standards of professional competence and ethical conduct of members of the federal legal profession.
Programs: The local chapter of the fba sponsors a lunch for the judges of the ninth circuit court of appeals and for the northern district judges, a dinner with the ninth circuit, and panels and presentations on recent developments at the supreme court, in patent law, and other legal issues.
