Mission: Serving the fellowship of alcoholics anonymous and maintaining services for those seeking, through aa, the means of arresting the disease of alcoholism through the application of the twelve steps which constitute the recovery program upon which the fellowship of alcoholics anonymous is founded.
Programs: Neta serves over 500 aa groups in the northeast texas area by:1. Communicating programs and services available from the aa general service office to the individual groups and districts. This is achieved through publication of quarterly newsletters and by direct involvement of area officers and committee members. 2. Conducting 3 assemblies each year for members and groups in the area which include workshops and sharing sessions. 3. Providing reimbursement of expenses incurred by committee members and trusted servants conducting workshops and seminars for area aa groups. The reimbursements provided committee members and trusted servants only partially reimburses them for actual costs. Mileage is reimbursed at 30 cents per mile. Expenses not reimbursed are paid individually by the committee members and trusted servants
