Causes: Environment, Environmental Education
Mission: To promote understanding of the relations between people and the biosphere and to conserve, protect, and celebrate terrestrial, aquatic, and marine ecosystems of northern california and southern oregon.
Programs: Northcoast environmental center. Prepared educational materials for public use and provided programs related to environmental issues. Worked with a coalition of public interest organizations working for a county general plan that provides healthy transportation and housing choices while protecting resource lands and watersheds by focusing future growth in existing communities.

econews. Publication of an environmental paper printed bimonthly which was distributed locally, mailed nationally and internationally. Full editions are available for viewing online. Featured articles regarding the northern california and oregon bioregion, plus important national and international environmental news and legislation.
