Mission: Prior to closing doors in november of 2011, the organization's mission was to provide a nurturing environment, individualized educational programs, and counseling for high school students with the goal of achieving california high school graduation requirements and a post-high school education.
Programs: Prior to closing doors in november 2011, the largest program service was to provide counseling and support on the transition from high school to post-secondary education. Traditionally students accepted were bright to highly gifted but unable to cope with public or prep schools, including autistic, specific learning disability, and other health impaired students. A smaller student-teacher ratio was a key factor. In addition to general schooling and physical fitness, students were offered classes on daily living, such as nutrition and cooking, as appropriate.
