Mission: To promote scientific research and education in the field of the normal and disordered hair growth
Programs: To enable young physicians and scientists to acquire additional academic or research skills that will further their careers as leaders in hair research, grants up to $2,250 each are awarded for training, dermatology or dermatopathology residents, fellows, or junior faculty to enable study with a hair research mentor. Both the mentor or the applicant must be a member of the north american hair research society. 22 awards were granted in 2017.
