These groups provide opportunities for mutual support, encouragement, prayer and sharing, and education. Each group explores coping skills and current issues in the field of mental health. These speakers are qualified either through personal experience in recovery from mental illness or professional training, and are regularly available to provide information about mental illness and encouragement to families, communities, and congregations.
