Causes: Arts & Culture, Cultural & Ethnic Awareness
Mission: To foster unity, love, and cultural understanding among and between other heterogeneous ethnic groups or organizations throughout north america. To promote events, programs and services that will bring progress to the community. To initiate developmental projects for the betterment of nsit atai in africa. To serve as a forum for discussion of matters of interest to ndito atai in north america.
Programs: Through our annual african festival we have been able to gather funding to launch our website. Through the website we are promoting an atmosphere of cooperation, unity among members by encouraging our children and adults to learn the basics of the ibibio language. The course includes voice-over pronunciations of english words to ibibio. We have also held several youth events in which the youth received cultural lessons and learned to cook african cuisine.
