I really enjoyed sending my son Ozmier to the Nest... they are very helpful and professional... i love the way they work with children and guide them in the right direction...they even helped my son pass his regents last year...such a good place with good people who genuinely love working with children... I recommend it to any parent looking for childcare or after school services...

My daughter Lilly,
Would always say to me, Mommy I my Afterschool. I'd ask her what do you miss most about afterschool ?

She told me that every day they read to her to help her feel confident when reading aloud, and they created a book club for her and her friends to read and discuss books. Ms. Lire is the best Afterschool teacher, and she is so kind and patient with the children. My daughter is learning so much.

Hello. I am contacting to file a complaint about a daycare center located in the Bronx, NY. About 8 or 9 years ago my children attended Nest Music Daycare, currently called Nest Music Conservatory. My two daughters were about 2 and 3 years old at the time
One day, my daughters came home and told me that after they had an accident, i.e. peed on themselves, during naptime, they were made to go in a closet and stand with one leg in the air at about a 90 degree angle for an extended amout of time. When my daughters would put her leg down, they were immediately told to "put your foot back up, little girl!"

I approached the daycare owner about the incident, her voice is featured in the video, but she denied it. My children never went there again. This has been on my heart for a long time and I'd like to file a complaint in hopes that it may help prevent this from happening to someone else's child.

My son has been going to The Nest Music Conservatory for a few years now and I love it. The staff is great and I know that my son is safe and in good hands when he is away from me. As a busy mom, it is a blessing to have after school pick up. Their summer program is great as well. I am definitely a pleased parent.

I would like to take this time to say thank you to each and everyone of you for writing wonderful reviews.

Hello,

My name is Lucy Alvarez. I am part of a wonderful growing, organization who is bring music back to the community and most importantly to our children. Through music the student in this organization are using a wonderful tool to open up their developmental skills through cognitive, social, emotional and physical development.

Each and everyone of our student are given individual time to learn and grow from their learning experience. We appreciate every moment, smile and love we get from our student and their families.

What we enjoy most is seeing our student academic skills improve. Through their improvement, we have notice our student are more focus on their studies and willing and open minded to learn more.

As the CFO, I am proud and happy to be part of a wonderful organization. Through music, we build our community, improve students academic skills and build the bridge between school, our organization and most importantly the homes of our family.

I like the staff at Nest Music Conservatory Inc. They are understanding, thoughtful and kind. They are school orientated and it shows. My child is coming out of her shell. She has learned a rhythm as far as doing her homework. She often asks to stay longer when I am picking her up. I like the changes I see in her.

I am so happy to find The Nest Music Conservatory. Being a first time parent (over protective and a little paranoid) I couldn't be more grateful for having Ms. Kenya to care for my son. At The Nest, it is flexible and reasonable at all times, as long as I communicate with Ms. Kenya about my needs. The Nest finds a way to adjust all activities to an age appropriate level. Ms. Kenya and her team work with my son on mental tasks as well as colors, numbers, letters and of course music. They truly treat my child as one of their own,he gets excited about seeing the team everyday. I will not only recommend but happy to be sending other family members there as well.

I'm extremely impressed with the teachers and how they always reach out & communicate with the parents. I find the communication and hands on approach very important in fostering an environment of trust and unity. The staff are genuinely concerned about the well being of the students even after the students graduate. Nest is an asset to the community!

This summer I enrolled my son's Joshua, 9 and Johnny, 8 in to there Summer Camp Program. My son's are often misunderstood by teachers and other program staff because I feel that sometimes they don't take the time out to listen to them when their upset about something. Miss Kenya the program director took Joshua and Johnny under her wings, by understanding their individual personality and character traits. My sons learned how to play drums and they discover that the love to sing Michael Jackson's music. They went on awesome trips to the museum, lazar tag and fishing. My son's can't wait till they can attend next year.
