I came to Nicasa after several people I know lost people to the opioid epidemic. I wanted to connect with an NFP in my home community that was making a difference in the area of opioid addiction. As I became involved in Nicasa, I discovered that the services offered were not just for drug and alcohol addiction, but also problem gambling. Community services include family advocacy programs and Teen Court. The programs at Nicasa make a difference in both the physical and behavioral health for the citizens of Lake County. I am proud and honored to serve as member of the Board of Directors.
