Matt and his team at Next 18 Inc. are true professionals dedicated to helping our veterans recover from mental and physical wounds. They use a unique combination of golf, yoga, mindfulness, and group sessions to assist our veterans in opening up to begin the healing process. In addition, they maintain contact with participants to ensure the healing continues beyond the golf camps.

Mission: Next 18 Inc is a 501(c)(3) founded to help disabled veterans and first responders identify and overcome the effects of moral injury by providing transformational mental health and holistic life resources. We serve veterans with disabilities by offering four-day golf camps focusing on self-care, empathy, compassion, and moral injury identification and treatment.

Target demographics: Disabled veterans and first responders
Direct beneficiaries per year: 75 veterans and first responders.
Geographic areas served: We offer camps in Wisconsin, Arizona, and Working to add Florida. Our goal is to make the program available nationally.
Programs: We offer 4-day golf camps focusing on self-care, empathy & compassion, and moral injury identification and treatment. During these camps, 9-12 participants receive PGA-caliber lessons while also participating in 5-6 hours of daily mental health training.
