Casey foundation's kids count new hampshire partner, the children's alliance promotes the foundation's research and policy work including the annual kids count report. Nh research - the children's alliance publishes data on new hampshire children biannually and maintains an online data site. Additionally, the alliance periodically releases research briefs on current child-related topics such as youth homelessness and school disipline.
education/advocacy: the education/advocacy programs include nh child advocacy network, nh hunger solutions, new england consortium, oral health and electoral advocacy. Nh child advocacy network - founded by the children's alliance in 1999, nh can, is a statewide partnership of child-serving organizations working together to create, publish and promote its annual legislative agenda "priorities for new hampshire's children". Nh hunger solutions - nh hunger solutions, convened by the children's alliance, is a statewide coalition working to improve children's nutrition and end childhood hunger. Together coalition members developed and released the "nh roadmap to end childhood hunger" in november 2012. New england consortium - the children's alliance is a founding member of the new england consortium, a six-state collaborative of child research and policy organizations that developed a common set of priorities to reduce child and family poverty in our individual states and region, and act as a catalyst for national change. Oral health - working with a team of state and national advocates, the children's alliance is addressing the lack of adequate oral health services in new hampshire through expansion of the oral health workforce. Electoral advocacy - a special election year initiative, this work educated state candidates and the public about children's issues, reported on the voting records of nh legislators on child-related issues and encouraged voting.
