Programs: Built in 1995, this 16-unit apartment complex with four, one-story brick buildings, provides safe, affordable housing linked to rental subsidies and services for low-income persons disabled with mental illness. Located at 3501-3547 petzinger road in suburban east columbus, the property also includes a community building and laundry. The live-in part-time resident manager, an experienced mental health case manager, monitors residents' independent living, provides crisis intervention, facilitates individual and group meetings with residents and support providers, assists with property maintenance, and fosters good community relations. In 2017, 18 of 18 disabled, low-income persons (100%) served in this program remained stable in their housing. On average, residents have stayed housed in the program for more than 5 years.
