Causes: Homeless & Housing, Low-Income & Subsidized Rental Housing
Mission: Nhs exists to promote sustainable home ownership in specifically targeted neighborhoods of north and south minneapolis, mn by providing lending, post purchase training and counseling and developmental services to prospective and current residents.
Programs: Nhs provides mortgages to purchase homes, to make needed improvements, and to assist buyers with down payment and closing costs. In 2017, nhs worked on revamping its loan program for 2018, working with neighborhood groups. In addition, in 2017 nhs serviced 200 loans for other neighborhoods.
