Mission: The primary purpose of nwp is to educate the public, promote recognition of equality of the sexes and to preserve the nwp's extensive collection of suffrage banners, archives, and artifacts documenting the continuing effort by women and men of all races, religions, and backgrounds toward full equality for women under the law.
Programs: Preservation - nwp is committed to supporting the national park service efforts to preserve its historic headquarters, the belmont-paul women's equality national monument, with ongoing restoration to the property and the historic feminist library.
interpretation - nwp continually promotes the importance of its purpose of equality of the sexes via tours, exhibitions, research, and publications.
collections care- nwp is tasked with the care and preservation of the unique collection which documents the suffrage movement and the campaign for the equal rights amendment (era).
