Causes: Arts & Culture
Mission: The National School Art Collective is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization whose mission is to support the development of student selected and student owned professional art collections in schools in every state in America. Each collection exposes students to art every day, helps enrich areas of the curriculum, and empowers students to become leaders in their school and community.
Target demographics: develop student selected and student purchased professional art collections in schools
Geographic areas served: Nationwide
Programs: We will provide initial funding, expertise, and support to each school that we work with and will continue to help them year after year. We will help each school create their own “Art Collective” and "Student Committee" that help support each school’s art collection. The School Art Collectives will help bring the students, faculty, and greater school communities together by developing the collections, holding fundraiser events, building relationships with local and statewide artists, art organizations, universities and colleges, and forging closer ties with the local business community.
