Mission: To provide programs of environmental education, cultural exchange, travel-study seminars, and indigenous and international leadership development activities for children, youth, and young adults.
Programs: The general consensus of the board of directors was that a teacher training program through universities, colleges and schools should become the primary future modality for the organization. Conversations began with paul schackel, a professor at the university of maryland, to develop such a prgram centered in washington dc as well as with the director of the national park service. Intiial interest was expresssed and suggestion was made to involve a consortium of other universities in the metropolitan washington dc area.
