Programs: National model united nations - new york (nmun-ny)march/april 2015: nmun-ny brought 5,448 delegates and 345 faculty from six continents to new york city. This preeminent conference simulated 21 committees selected to engage students in discussions of current global issues. The united nations headquarters provided an impressive backdrop; closing sessions were held in the general assembly hall. Prominent speakers included sg ban ki-moon and dsg jan eliasson.
national model united nations - washington, dc (nmun-dc)october/november 2014: the nmun-dc conference drew delegates from all over the world. 863 students and 72 faculty participated in discussions of issues at the forefront of international relations. The conference included a crisis simulation in the security council and committee briefings by distinguished speakers from the washington, dc diplomatic community. The opening session was held at the us state department.
