Performance measurement - ncqa develops and maintains the principal health care performance measurement tool for health plans and physicians, the health care effectiveness data and information set (hedis). Ncqa works on a contract basis with public and private organizations to develop, manage, execute, or consult on projects. Ncqa also develops and delivers education conferences, publications, and information products.
ncqa is responding to the rapidly changing health care marketplace by developing new programs and services that measures performance across the delivery system.
