However, through nccf they were able to find support and education. Our facebook group is one of the most encouraging and supportive groups of people out there. This group along with our ask the doctor and the canine cancer library give people who are faced with canine cancer a place to start, a place to turn to when they have no idea what to do next. Our blog is also doing well in educating the public and relaying important information and ideas.
the nccf received well over 500 memorial donations. Our events, the six bark and bowls and many walks, both small and large, as well as pet expos and pet evens that have been put on through the years have brought healing to those who have lost dogs, raised funds for the research and raised a lot of awareness regarding caner and education about what to do for your dog. We have been able to fund several grants which are ongoing and continuing their research into the future years, which means they are making enough discoveries that warrant futher research.
