My children and I had a wonderful experience visiting the Diggs-Johnson Museum. My children wanted to know more about what parts did black played in our local area. This Museum answered a lot of there questions.

I know the founders Lenwood Johnson and Louis Diggs. So, I began to visit, donate and participate in various activities at the Museum. It is an important historical museum in Baltimore County, Maryland.

The history of African Americans in Baltimore County, Maryland is preserved and shared with the world through the great work of the Friends of the Historical Cherry Hill AUMP Inc. I especially appreciate the programming at the Diggs-Johnson Museum. The efforts of Louis Diggs and Lenwood Johnson will ensure that the legacy of Baltimore County’s African American community will be around for generations to come.
