Nonprofit Overview
Causes: Arts & Culture, Bands & Ensembles, Singing & Choral Groups
Mission: To provide quality educational band programs for private and parochial school students in northeast ohio and to keeping the cost of learning to play a band instrument affordable for their families.
Programs: Musicalliance teachers provided band instruction to over 1,100 students in 27 schools. Several festival band concerts were held by forming a single larger band from several smaller school bands. This helped to enhance the performance experience for the students. The "honors band program" are special programs offered to outstanding young local musicians. Over 250 students participated in this program. Each school band program provided at least two free public concerts during the year.
