Nonprofit Overview
Causes: Arts & Culture, Music
Mission: Musical Expressions Experience is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to “provide all youth with a healthy and artistic experience of music and art learning”.
Target demographics: We provide after-school enrichment programs for underserved youth in our targeted communities that combats the twin problems of student disengagement and low academic achievement by creating personalized, project-based learning environments where all students are challenged to achieve high expectations through the arts of music.
Geographic areas served: Jackson MS
Programs: Our innovative model program will provide learning opportunities and experiences to under resourced communities in music and arts education for youth. Our goal is to build academic, social and personal development skills for youth who are enrolled in our program.
