Mission: Sharing and teaching the local history of the historic site with the public, through various activities and programs.
Programs: The society enlightens the public about historical events which occurred on the site. Significant events at this historic verplank home include stories about the original dutch traders who built the site, several activites during the revolutionary war, including the birthplace of the society of the cincinnati ( our first veterans organization) as well as several civil war connections.
