Mission: The mission of morris county organization for hispanic affairs, inc. Is to enrich the morris count community by facilitating the adaptation and well- being of the low-income hispanic and non-hispanic population through services, information, education and civic means.
Programs: The purpose of the weatherization program is to increase the energy efficiency of residences occupied by low-income persons, particularly the elderly, those with disabilities and family's with children. This program serves all income eligible residences of morris county, new jersey, regardless of ethnicity.
the home energy assistance program helps eligible low-income households meet their home heating and or cooling needs.
the transportation program raises awareness within the community regarding traffic safety and injury prevention in morris, warren and sussex counties located in new jersey. The programs are presented through workshops for parents and teachers and fun/educational programs for children. The program also provides traffic safety materials, coloring books, and both car and booster seats at low cost.
